SANTA PAULA, CA: April, 2020 – BendPak Holdings LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of BendPak, Inc announced today that it has acquired certain assets, including related intellectual property rights, from Garage Equipment Supply, Inc. and its related intellectual property holding company. The acquired assets include three renowned brands, Dannmar®, MaxJax®, and Garage Equipment Supply®. The acquisition further extends BendPak’s fast-growing portfolio of brands and strengthens its product offering for car dealerships, fleet operators, repair shop owners and car enthusiasts worldwide.

Question. What happened to Dannmar? I heard rumors that they went out of business.

Answer. In April of 2020, during the midst of the Covid-19 crisis, certain assets of GES, including Dannmar and trademark were sold to BendPak Holdings LLC under an Assignment for the Benefit of Creditors proceeding. Currently, the Dannmar product line is under the leadership and operational control of BendPak Inc. We’re ready to take Dannmar where GES left off. They did a great job, but we’re certain we can do better.

Q: I have a Dannmar product and need to order replacement parts. Are replacement parts still available?

A: BendPak Holdings LLC, will stock and maintain all current Dannmar (models) replacement parts and accessories.

Q: Will I still be able to find parts several years down the road?

A: BendPak Holdings LLC will stock and maintain all current Dannmar (models) replacement parts and accessories. BendPak typically stocks and maintains product replacement parts for a minimum of twenty years.

Q: I noticed the Dannmar website is different. Why did the website change?

A: When BendPak Holdings LLC acquired certain assets of GES the old website was lost. A new website was built from the ground up to take its place.
